Sherwin Williams selected Darkroom as its 2023 Color of the Year. This moody, deep purple is perfect for Fall, and was described as “an alluring and classic shade for an eclectic yet modern look”. Behr: Blank Canvas
Behr selected Blank Canvas, a warm neutral, for their 2023 color of the year. This soft white creates a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for entryways. It’s also perfect as a calming neutral for bedrooms.
Pantone: Digital Lavender
Pantone has released its 2023 Color of the Year and announced it will be Digital Lavender! This color is similar to last years, Very Peri, which was a joyous periwinkle blue. Digital Lavender is a soft purple that evokes calmness.

PPG & Glidden: Vining Ivy
PPG and Glidden announced that the restorative huge Vining Ivy would be their joint 2023 Paint Color of the Year after discussions with 35 color stylists from across the world. This gorgeous teal color straddles the line between a natural hue and a bold jewel tone. It’s the perfect accent color if you want a pop, but still want to keep it subtle.

Instead of selecting one color, Dunn-Edwards creates four stunning color palettes that capture the color trends for 2023. Look for innovative materials and organic shapes that blend the natural and artificial”, and Life in Poetry, which “is equivalent to a vacation that lasts all year long. It embraces a relaxed summertime lifestyle and cherishes imperfections, DIY, and bric-a-brac craftwork to create a cheerful, nostalgic retreat.”

Valspar decided to release an entire collection of 2023 paint colors. This 12-shade collection was inspired by nature and evoke “comfort, acceptance, and joy.” The 12 colors in this collection are Everglade Deck, Green Trellis, Ivory Brown, Desert Carnation, Holmes Cream, Cozy White, Gentle Violet, Villa Grey, Flora, Southern Road, Blue Arrow, and Rising Tide.
