在多伦多建造定制别墅时,会遇到很多不熟悉的术语。对于没有设计或者建筑背景的人来说,很容易被这些术语搞晕,我们整理了最容易搞混的设计术语,解释了它们的含义。 现代 VS 当代 这两个词意思相近,很多场合下能够互相替换,但在建筑设计中,他们的意思大相径庭。“现代”特指20世纪出现的一种设计风格——现代主义设计风格。当代设计没有特指的年代,代表时下流行的趋势。 鱼骨纹 VS 人字纹 很多人会将这两种纹理搞混,因为他们看上去都曲曲折折的。这两种纹理很相近,但只要你明白了个中差别,就很容易区分了。鱼骨纹地板每块的末端都呈45度斜角,能够形成连续的V形;而人字纹每块板的末端是平的,因此在每列接缝处更曲折些。 复古 VS 古董 大家知道要有特定特色的物品才可被称作复古或古董吗?人们常常会把这两个词混起来使用,但其实20年以上的家具才能被称为复古家具,而古董家具要有100年以上的历史。 卡拉拉 VS 卡拉卡塔 如果你喜欢用时下流行的大理石材质,那么理解这两个词之间的差别非常重要。这两种大理石材料非常相近,但也很容易混淆。一般来说,卡拉卡塔比卡拉拉更罕见,卡拉拉的颜色灰度高一些,纹理比较淡,而卡拉卡塔大理石本色更白,纹理也更重。 复合地板 VS 实木地板 说到铺设木地板,我们以前有过对木地板铺设方法的介绍,但实际上木地板的材质选择也很多样。复合地板一般由木材压制成层而成,比起硬实木地板稍薄,但对热胀冷缩的反应度更稳定;而实木地板是整块经过压制的木头。 刨花板 VS 纤维板 如果你在计划装修厨房,你应该之前就听说过这些术语。这些材料都是木板和树脂的合成物。刨花板是从大的木板颗粒压制而成的纤维板(又称为中密度纤维板MDF)是从木屑制造而成。纤维板密度更高也更持久,因此更适合做厨房的橱柜门,刨花板可以用作橱柜的侧边。 石英石 VS 花岗岩 石英石和花岗岩是厨房最受欢迎的台面材料,虽然两者看上去很像,但其实大有不同。石英石是工程压制的石头,主要材料是碎石料和树脂;而花岗岩是直接采矿而来的自然石材。石英石更耐用,也不像花岗岩需要特别多的护理,但花岗岩总体来说比较便宜。 瓷 VS 陶 陶瓷常常一起出现,让人以为是同一种材料。但其实瓷是密度更高也更高级的陶,因此比陶更光滑也更耐用。
